I’m bugged by the fact no one really has a British accent in fact most of them sound French or some kind of Eastern European accent or just sound like they are slurring. It would simply Sound more natural if a woman did all the female characters and jimdale still did the males Or especially belatrix or Rosemerta just sounds wrong. Often hermiones voice is something that if you heard a woman in real life speaking like that you’d assume she was trying to bellow very deeply like a man it would not sound normal. It’s simply a man trying to do woman’s voices doesn’t sound right. It drives me nuts my inner grammar nazi just shuddersĪlso I think maybe For books where there are both characters speaking that are both male and female they should do a co- narrated audio book.

I love this site and am obsessed with potter this is my second time relistening to the audiobook after a childhood of rereading the books several times.īut especially if it’s by pottermore I don’t get how they were okay with all the mispronunciations in it especially for the spells.
